New EIHA Directive for Under 20s

This week the EIHA immediately put into place new equipment rules for Under 20s players, playing at all EIHA and BUIHA levels, these safety rules have aligned Under 20s with most Under 18s rules.

It is now MANDATORY for U20s players to wear a neck guard and have ear guards in their helmets.

Neck guards are a simple solution and available to purchase HERE.

Ear guards however are more of challenge,

If you have removed the ear guards from your helmet and not kept them you will need to seek to find replacements to match the brand and model of your helmet.

At current we do not have a universal option and replacements from the manufacturers are out of stock with UK suppliers. We are seeking an option but at current the only solution we can offer is a replacement helmet.

You can browse our range of Ice Hockey Helmets HERE.

In addition to this rule changes. It is also mandatory for players to use mouth guards if they wear a half visor and recommended with a full face shield or cage.
